Abstract:
A survey of pilot-symbol-aided channel distortion estimation algorithms based on multidimensional random fields processing methods used in multicarrier communication systems is considered. The presented assemblage of works of the authors describes solutions to a number of problems concerning of enhancement of multicarrier communication systems efficiency. The results are as follows: 1) communication multipath channel adequate models represented in the form of higher-order autoregressive equations; 2) effective algorithms of pilot-symbol allocation on two-dimensional grid developed by using mathematical modeling; 3) synthesis of optimal and quasioptimal algorithms for multicarrier pilot-symbol-supplemented signal reception and the corresponding effectiveness analysis.
