The article deals with the atmospheric discharge of industrial pollutants. The analyses carried out proved that carbon oxide and nitrogen dioxide as well as suspended substances constitute approx. 65% of the whole of all of industrial atmospheric discharge, the main contribution being made by heat-and-power and machine-building engineering plants. Atmosphere pollution threatens not only human health but also ecological damage to the nature. The most effective way of industrial atmospheric discharge deterioration could be creation of atmospheric security system of an industrial enterprise which will provide raw materials and energy saving.
