Abstract:
The article describes the basic concepts of the organization of innovative production databases on the enterprises of electronic industry. Due to the fact that to make good management decisions required to conduct a comprehensive analysis of data residing in different sources to build technologically efficient databases. The authors clearly demonstrate the main features of XML technology for building data warehouses. As the authors of the main advantages of XML are the following: the flexibility of the scheme, ease of integration in the information landscape, platform independence. Illustrative examples are given basic XML document - for example, the description of the circuit board. Next, we consider the possibility of organizing data in the XML storage structures such as Large Object (LOB), provides the means of object relational database Oracle. The authors conclude that the use of the database Oracle. The authors believe that the use of XML allows us to solve complex integration problems between the production systems, electronic industry. Especially emphasizes the benefits of XML-approach when it comes to the approach based on SOA (service-oriented architecture). A service-oriented approach assumes that through the business processes based on Web services transmit data between systems and applications within a specific business logic. The authors believe that the data warehouse, built using XML can be used effectively in the event of a rapidly changing business logic of the company, the most important advantage, of course, is the flexibility of the database schema, combined with the ability to access the data. These circumstances allow us to talk about the possibility of using XML structures in enterprises of electronic industry, improving business processes of production using modern information technology.
