The current scientific and technological challenge of reducing the time of display panels diagnostics due to the parallel control of several indications of displayed parameters are considered in the article. The mathematical model of the process of display panel diagnostics and the algorithm for display panel diagnostics are proposed. The main approach to solve the problem of minimizing the time of diagnosis is in using of serial method of constructing quasi-optimal scheduling generation of test signals to the inputs of the display panel. The procedure of diagnostics of automobile instrument cluster, having twenty of displayed parameters to be monitored, is discussed in the article. An estimation of temporal advantage in diagnostics of the automobile instrument cluster is given as well.
