Functionality of image processing systems based on CMOS image sensors

Abstract:
Presents typical built-in image processing functions for digital cameras, camcorders, mobile phones. Examined their features. The built-processing functions in a variety of digital video equipment does not have a wide range of operations performed, and generally provide a high quality image processing only in automatic mode. To develop new methods should be the creation of automated processing methods that improve image quality. In particular, it can be improved automatic white balance, select the most dramatic shot in low light, the brightness correction of distortion, aberration correction, increasing the resolution of the video sensor by software processing a series of images, and others.
