An analytical model of the binary sequence with turbo product coding

Abstract:
The turbo product codes are widely used to correct errors appearing in high speed channels of satellite communication. Methods of identifications of the error-correcting codes are applied at the stage of the analysis of the coder of the channel if the code is a priori unknown during radio-monitoring signal of satellite communication links. By they have limitations as to the turbo product codes because of their multidimensional structure. This paper contains the analytical model of the binary sequence with turbo product coding on the basis of generating matrices of constituent codes and operators of re-ordering the elements of the sequence. This model allows present the procedure of multidimensional coding by the sequence of stages of one-dimensional coding. This makes it possible to single out the code words of any constituent code on the basis of inverse operators of re-ordering from the binary sequence with turbo product coding when length of constituent codes are priori known. Methods of identifications of the error-correcting codes can be used to the code words singled out. The application of this approach allows to identify constituent codes and the turbo product code on the whole.
