Technique for obtaining time dependences of basic electric and termionic parameters of cathode units

Abstract:
Development of thermionic cathode units with operation temperature up to 1200ºC involves the research of their thermoelectric parameters. The paper deals with the technique for measuring these parameters using a digital pyrometer and an analogue-digital converter, which provides obtaining those parameters depending on time. Proposed technique extends ability of research of cathode units and enables to obtain dependences thermoelectric parameters on time, their peak values and also dependences, got from integration or differentiation experimental curves. The developed technique can be used in express tests of lifetime and precision measuring of heating time of cathode units including values less than 1s.
