This article is giving us the concept of value stream map (VSM) and reasonable the need for its using in quality systems. It has been proved that it is impossible to control the process without to not see interrelations altogether. The VSM allow visualizing processes that in turn allow calculating the time for value moving from stage to stage and define the «bottlenecks» that trig the process. It is proved that the VSM is a key tool of quality management. The using of maps allow to increase efficiency of product (services) and to avoid the wrong choice of LEAN tools and areas of its using, that bring appearance of less efficiency improvement zones. The climactic stage of value streams charting is work with all manufacturing and administrative flows in company and also analysis the cooperation with suppliers and customers, which allow starting and developing the principles of constant improvements. It could be possible along the chain and it is very important as now days the competition is not among the manufacturers but among the chains «supplier-customer».
