Abstract:
In real communication channels reflection of radio-waves from various objects leads to occurrence of intersymbolical interference (ISI). This effect can worsen considerably quality of reception, and in certain cases does its impossible without additional processing of signal. One of effective methods of ISI compensation is application of adaptive filtration algorithms in the receiver. Among them it is possible to mark out the class of blind equalization algorithms (BEA) which focused on use of features of received signal structure. A basis of any BEA is cost function (CF) in which received signal parameters are compared with a priori known. CF definition is entered in such a manner that the closer received signal parameters to the known parameters, the it is less CF value. Knowing signal structure, it is possible to develop CF most full considering the information on signal parameters.
The minimum shift keying signals (MSK) have good power and spectral characteristics. MSK are widely applied in real devices. The new BEA most full considering structure of MSK is developed for reception of signals in multibeam communication channel. The carried out researches of the developed algorithm have confirmed its efficiency defined by more exact MSK recovery, in comparison with Godard algorithm which widely applied in real devices.
