This article describes basic technical requirements to telephone service and speakerphone devices, which are a part of complex of automation of command post. The article contains basic principles of encoding and compression of voice information, methods of voice information switching, registration and accounting of talks, connection of subscribers and terminal equipment to switchboard. Besides it contains block diagrams and composition of 2 basic types of digital devices of operational command communication. At the present time these devices are produced in Russia. It-s a complex of operational command communication device, which was made on basis of technical means of "Децима" company (Zelenograd), and complex of operational command communication, which was devised by radiofactory of Penza. These types of devices can be used both in fixed and mobile conditions. Finally author of this article gives suggestions of voice information transmission in closed communication channels and ways of further development of voice communication equipment.
