Abstract:
It is generally accepted that the development of modern economy is more than ever based on a factor of the development of innovative mechanisms. In modern conditions Russia's economy should be focused on the use of different kinds of innovations for the prosperity of our society, as well as efficient and successful process of integration into the global economic community. In general, all the major spheres of societies develop through innovative technologies, and economic reliance on education and science is becoming more and more evident. In fact, the functioning of the higher education as an integral part of the economy is currently being considered in the context of innovation development. Meanwhile, as distinctions between fundamental and problem-oriented research have blurred, and demands to make public research more responsive to the needs of business and civil society have mounted, there is a greater need for increased and more efficient linkages between education, science and innovation. Thus, the role of higher education in accelerating science, technology and innovation processes for a stronger, cleaner, fairer world economy is determined. Building a highly skilled and mobile scientific workforce for the future is essential.
