Abstract:
For the purpose to support the manned space mission to the Mars it is necessary to develop a new integrated radio tech-nical system intended to control and to communicate with components of the mission complex at every phases of program implementation. This integrated radio technical system shall comprise a number of ground-based and space-borne subsystems ensuring the control of interplanetary mission components at different phases of the flight. The system shall provide a possibility to exchange the great volume of data between the components of interplanetary mission complex and the Earth, what is necessary for control the mission complex components. At the same time the data exchange between the mission complex components and the Earth will be carried out at a high data rate. In order to meet this requirement the most short radio waves (less than 1 cm) shall be used and new ground antennas with large antenna effective area shall be created which shall be built on the principle of summing up the signals from a lot of relatively small antennas.
