LIMIT RATIO FOR PHASE MEASUREMENT IN A CHANNEL WITH FLUCTUATING PARAMETERS

Abstract:
We analyze the phase measurements in strongly fluctuating channel. Such a channel occurs in conditions of strong geomagnetic disturbances, ionospheric spread of the signal, sunrise and sunset, turbulence, and strong interference. In doing so, the spread of the signal becomes incoherent. In this channel there are phase «jumps» into neighboring phase cycles. The limit on operating frequency is fulfilled. We show that the transition to a measurable difference in the frequencies increases the accuracy of phase measurements.
