Abstract:

The current level of development of radar systems is characterized by their ability to operate in a wide frequency range with complex types of radio signal modulation, in a rapidly changing environment with complex interference and multi-signal conditions. In this context, the testing process for radar systems must be efficient and accurate, conducted in conditions that closely resemble real-world operations, and provide real-time measurements with high levels of automation and precision. This places special requirements on the development of new measurement tools and test systems, as well as on the methodological support for testing radar systems. However, in practice, the ability to meet these requirements using the existing test site infrastructure is significantly limited, leading to a contradiction that needs to be resolved. The full-scale testing of radar systems at the current and future levels can only be achieved through the creation of a conceptually new test site infrastructure.

The article analyzes the main factors that determine the need to develop a test site for testing radar systems for interference resistance. The article identifies the main approaches to designing equipment for testing radar systems for interference resistance, which can be used to create modern and promising test sites.

The implementation of the proposed concept of developing a test site for testing interference resistance will allow the creation of modern and promising radar systems, significantly reducing the time required for testing and increasing the objectivity of the obtained technical characteristics.
