Abstract:

Problem Statement. In the context of the ever-increasing value of information of various nature, special attention is paid to the intelligence protection of the data transmission networks used. Radio networks are no exception. Due to this circumstance, increasing the intelligence protection of radio networks is a key area in ensuring the protection of radio communications from electronic reconnaissance and radio suppression.

Objective. Using an analytical model, study the method of organizing radio communications using a group of short-range UAV repeaters, which allows for information exchange in the conditions of electronic countermeasures.

Results. The article proposes a method for increasing the intelligence protection of radio networks deployed using repeaters on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Recommendations are offered for the use of repeaters on UAVs. An analytical model is presented for calculating the necessary and sufficient loitering altitude of UAVs, depending on the signal-code design used.

Practical significance. The results of the study can be used for the preparation, organization and deployment of UAV-based communication systems for various purposes.
