Abstract:

Problem statement. In a local navigation system (LNS), the determination of the consumer's location is carried out on the basis of the results of measuring the radio navigation parameters of the navigation signals of all LNS transmitters. In practice, situations may arise when navigation signals arriving at the input of the consumer's receiving device may have many different levels. This leads to the fact that signals with weak levels cannot be distinguished from strong signals, which may result in a significant reduction in the working area of the LNS around the transmitters.

Purpose. Develop an algorithm for spatial attenuation of strong signals using an adaptive antenna array with a compensation coefficient whose value is proportional to the level of the received signal.

Results. An algorithm has been developed that provides the possibility of simultaneous reception of phase-code-manipulated navigation signals received at one operating frequency and differing many times in level.

Practical significance. The obtained results can be used to expand the working area of the LNS around the transmitters.
