Abstract:

Problem statement. The proposed approach opens up new possibilities for adaptive decoding, allowing you to dynamically adjust the parameters of the decoder depending on the characteristics of the received signal. This is especially important in conditions of changing channel noise or when using variable-length codes. Using a hypernet to manage subnet parameters ensures efficient allocation of computing resources, concentrating them on the most problematic nodes of the Tanner graph. The arctanh approximation by the activation function based on the Taylor decomposition reduces computational complexity, which is critical for real-time decoder implementation.

Goal. The development of a hypernet specialized for decoding short block codes, which makes it possible to create a more flexible and adaptive decoding system capable of efficiently processing various types of short block codes with minimal resource expenditure.

Results. The simulation results show that the proposed method makes it possible to achieve significant improvements in decoding characteristics compared to traditional approaches, especially in conditions of a low signal-to-noise ratio. This opens up prospects for the application of the proposed method in a wide range of telecommunication systems requiring high reliability of data transmission.

Practical significance. The results obtained make it possible to significantly improve the speed and accuracy of decoding short block codes, which is especially important for communication systems where response time and reliability of data transmission play a critical role.
