Abstract:

Problem statement. The development of radio engineering systems is associated with an increase in the amount of information processed, which has led to high demands on hardware performance and cost. At the same time, the hardware implementation is approaching a certain potential limit, above which real-time signal processing becomes impossible or excessively resource-intensive. As a result, a problem arises related to the need to develop new methods for processing high-frequency signals and their multidimensional streams for detection, recognition, compact storage, etc.

Goal. Investigation of the influence of the degree of sparsity of the signal, the level of interference and other factors on the quality of solving detection and recognition problems using compressed measurements.

Results. A mathematical apparatus for detecting and recognizing signals from compressed measurements was obtained, which made it possible to evaluate the quality indicators of detection and recognition at various degrees of signal compression. It has been established that acceptable performance is achieved with an average compression ratio.

Practical significance. The possibility of detecting and recognizing signals using compressed measurements is shown, which makes it possible to significantly increase the processing speed of streaming data.
