Problem Statement. The GLONASS global navigation system implements frequency division multiplexing (FDMA) of two phase-shift keyed signals emitted by each satellite. This paper presents the development of an antenna array for receiving signals at frequencies intended for military purposes - 1.25 GHz (L1) and general use - 1.6 GHz (L2), and providing operation in a 360-degree horizontal plane sector.
Objective. To develop interference-resistant navigation equipment for global navigation satellite systems (hereinafter referred to as GNSS) based on a seven-element antenna array.
Results. In the course of electrodynamic modeling in the computer-aided design system, a patch antenna model was developed that ensures the operation of GPS and GLONASS in the L1, L2 C/A frequency ranges and an antenna array model that ensures the operation of GPS in the L1, L2 C/A frequency ranges and GLONASS in the L1OF, L2OF frequency ranges.
Practical Significance. The practical significance lies in the modernization of currently used ground antenna arrays. The seven-element antenna array increases the efficiency of navigation systems by improving the electrodynamic characteristics of GPS and GLONASS signal reception in the L1 and L2 frequency ranges and can be located on any ground object.
