Abstract:

Currently, when designing new modern aviation electronic warfare systems designed for individual protection of attack aircraft from electronic weapons controls, very strict requirements are imposed on the probability of survival of the protected aircraft. The probability of an aircraft's survival directly depends on the throughput, which should be the maximum possible, and the reaction time to new threats, which should be the minimum possible, of aviation electronic warfare systems. It is necessary to ensure the maximum possible probability of survival of the protected aircraft attacked by electronic weapons controls, under certain specified resource constraints imposed on the weight, dimensions and energy consumption of the electronic warfare complex. Thus, in this case, it is necessary to solve the problem of conditional optimization of a function of many variables, which is a problem of nonlinear programming. The solution of this problem made it possible to carry out a formal description of the methodology for increasing throughput and reducing the reaction time to new threats of aviation electronic warfare complexes under given resource constraints. The developed technique can be applied in the design of aviation electronic warfare systems that provide effective individual protection of attack aircraft from electronic weapons controls.
