Problem statement. Nowadays, the problem of enhancing energetic concealment of spread spectrum signals within the conditions of radio-frequency spectrum deficiency is topical. One of the most promising approaches to solving this problem is using the method of polarization coding (PC) of spread spectrum signals. At the same time, the problem of searching the polarization codes which would provide polarization loss 3 dB in input of the receiving path in signal cycle invariantly to the preserving parameter of arbitrary polarization of the receiving antenna, i.e. employing the condition of pseudo-nonpolarization of spread spectrum signals with PC, is crucial.
Objective. To determine the requirements to be satisfied by the alphabetical symbols and code sequences of polarization codes ensuring the condition of pseudo-nonpolarization of spread spectrum signals with PC.
Results. With the use of generalized receiving polarization coefficient we found the requirements to be satisfied by the alphabetical symbols and code sequences of polarization codes ensuring the condition of pseudo-nonpolarization of spread spectrum signals with PC and gave their mechanical and geometrical interpretation. We also looked at the examples of selection of alphabetical symbols for polarization codes with consideration to the found requirements for the alphabets ratios M = 2, 3 and 4.
Practical relevance. The found limitations for the selection of alphabet symbols and polarization codes sequences allow to ensure implementation of polarization loss 3 dB in the receiver in signal cycle at unauthorized reception of polarization discrete-coded spread spectrum signals on arbitrary omnipolarization antenna.
