Abstract:

Broadband coupling elements for multi-probe reflectometers based on rectangular waveguides are proposed and investigated. The devices are made in the form of a joint of a section of a waveguide and a coaxial transmission line with capacitive coupling between them. Numerical modeling and parametric optimization of the geometric dimensions of the elements are performed, the possibility of expanding the operating frequency range with a significant decrease in the transient attenuation difference is shown.
