Currently, the task of individual protection of attack aircraft from electronic weapons controls is very urgent. At the same time, a large number of modern and promising high-potential and ultra-wide-band electronic weapons control devices appear, for the electronic suppression of which, especially at short distances, the creation of high-energy interference, aimed both in frequency and direction, is required. The creation of such interference, coordinated along the spectrum with the suppressed signal and directed in space strictly at the source of the suppressed signal, requires the receivers of aviation electronic warfare complexes to perform them in the form of direction finders with high accuracy of bearing and low RMS error. This makes it possible to form a narrow beam of an interference signal, which is precisely aimed at the suppressed radiation source and holds the suppressed electronic weapon control device in this beam, which allows you to achieve maximum interference energy potential. As you know, the quality of the direction finder is determined by its receiving antenna system. To ensure the required interference conditions, it is necessary to determine the design procedure for the receiving antenna system of aviation electronic warfare complexes.
