Abstract:

When designing a new space system for radio-electronic Earth observation, it is necessary to select optimal orbits for spacecraft, taking into account both the ballistic parameters of the satellite system and the characteristics and purpose of the launched spacecraft.

The work is devoted to the description of a comparative analysis of the capabilities of orbital groupings of spacecraft on various types of orbits for global continuous radio-electronic monitoring of the Earth.

The practical significance consists in determining the possible ballistic construction of a space system for global continuous radio-electronic monitoring of the Earth

The paper implements the choice of the orbital construction of a space electronic surveillance system, taking into account many factors.

Each variant of the construction of orbital groupings takes into account the necessary assumptions that can affect the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to the space system.

As one of the options for constructing a space system to solve the problem of global continuous radio-electronic observation of the Earth's surface, it is proposed to build a ballistically coupled orbital grouping of heterogeneous spacecraft in geostationary orbit, providing radio-electronic observation over a given area and support for an orbital grouping in a highly elliptical orbit, vehicles in a highly elliptical orbit that provide global continuous observation, and spacecraft at low altitude. orbit, with a circuit closure cycle, providing highly detailed observation of a given area with a given frequency.
