Problem statement. According to the order establishing the procedure for the acceptance of special equipment, hardware and software complexes for the supply of internal affairs bodies (ATS) and the commissioning of information systems and software tools, all satellite navigation equipment that is part of monitoring and control systems, as well as software (software) must be subjected to state tests for compliance with mandatory departmental requirements. General tactical and technical requirements for navigation and monitoring systems (NMS) are used as mandatory departmental requirements [1, 2]. The purpose of state tests is to evaluate the functionality of the components of the NMS, check the tactical and technical characteristics of the NPS and issue recommendations on the possibility of their acceptance for supply (commissioning).

Goal. To present the results of state tests of all the main components, that make up the NMS (components of the system together with on-board terminals, software and cartographic basis).

Results. The results of state tests of consumer navigation equipment and software for the adoption of NMS for the supply of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia are presented.

Practical significance. The adoption of GLONASS/GPS navigation equipment for the supply of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will contribute to improving the efficiency of the police through the use of modern navigation and information technologies in its daily activities.
