Abstract:

Being installed on board of the modern aviation complex (AC) are the radio-electronic facilities that solve tasks close to their intended purpose. Such facilities are the radar (RDR) and the air reconnaissance station (ARS) designed to detect air targets (AT) during the AC flight. Therefore, the development of the complex processing methods of data fed from RDR and ARS while the AT detection is to be a topical issue.

The article describes the development of the adaptive filtering procedure of phase coordinates detected by the onboard radar of AT in order to provide the complex processing of data fed from the radar and the AC air reconnaissance station. The filtering procedure is based on the results of the target class recognition in ARS using the secondary processing of data by means of implementing linear filtering algorithms and synthesizing methods of the complex processing algorithms of data fed from RDR and ARS based on the implementation of two utility conditions.

Based on the methodology being considered the algorithms of complex processing of data fed from RDR and ARS are developed. They can be further implemented in the onboard computer of the AC radar. The methods of the mathematic modeling are used to estimate the air target detection quality. It is indicated that the implementation of the developed procedures and algorithms of the complex data processing increases the quality of AT detection by means of the AC radio-electronic facilities by, at least 60%.
