Abstract:

Statement of the problem. In works, devoted to the study of the channel of information leakage due to high-frequency irradiation of specially designed antenna devices [1], acoustoelectromagnetic conversion in random scatterers of electromagnetic waves located in a dedicated room during confidential negotiations is not considered. There are no physically substantiated characteristics of the scatterers that make it possible to determine the power of the sound signal in octave bands at the output of the sound reproducing device of the acoustic voice reconnaissance equipment.

Purpose. Development of a method for calculating the effective scattering area of a wire at combination frequencies, vibrating under the action of an acoustic speech wave, based on the method of spectral analysis.

Results. A method for calculating the effective scattering area of a vibrating wire at combination frequencies is proposed. Analytical relations are obtained that allow describing the modulation of an electromagnetic wave scattered by a vibrating wire by a low-frequency sound vibration. It is shown that the orientation of the lobes of the backscattering diagram of the wire at combination frequencies is radically different from the orientation of the lobes of the scattering diagram at the carrier frequency.

Practical significance. The obtained analytical relations for calculating the effective scattering area of a wire at combination frequencies can be used in methods for assessing the possibilities of intercepting speech information through a high-frequency irradiation channel.
