The purpose of the article is to develop a radio engineering method for obtaining coordinate definitions in a local coordinate system by transmitting and receiving a minimum number of signals (one signal). Two methods of indoor radio navigation based on the minimum number of signals are proposed. Experiments have been carried out confirming the fundamental applicability of the first method due to its small overall dimensions and low energy consumption, low price, lack of mechanical moving parts and invariance to visibility conditions. It is shown that the second method potentially allows navigation by signals of wireless communication networks without the need for additional infrastructure, except for a single access point.
