Abstract:

The paper describes a method for partial calibration of a phased array antenna without the use of geodetic equipment to determine the position of the auxiliary antenna. The position is determined with an optimization procedure, using the signals in the channels in the current session and the results of the calibration in the previous session. This makes it possible to simplify calibration and to reduce the cost of the set of equipment used.
