Abstract:

The theoretical problem of propagating modes influence on the shape of radiation pattern in linear and planar arrays of circular waveguides is considered. The ratios between mode amplitudes and phases which allow forming flat-topped radiation patterns in two main planes of observing at different polarization of excitation were obtained and optimized.
