To the direction finders, placed onboard aircrafts besides demands to a possibility of effective and high-precision radio monitoring demands are made to weight and dimensions of antenna system. Depending on aircraft type it is necessary to consider the effects accompanying its traffic in various extent. In the course of traffic (flight) considerable changes of all three Euler of angles of orientation are characteristic. Special practical interest represents the solution of a problem of definition of potential possibilities of direction finding of land sources of radio-frequency radiation air means of radio monitoring in the offered way with error check of measurement of angles of orientation of the carrying agent by equipment of navigating-time maintenance.
In paper the analytical form for potential accuracy of azimuthal direction finding of land sources of radio-frequency radiation is gained by air means of radio monitoring allows to size up agency on results of direction finding of spatially correlated handicapes with any levels and directions of radiations, characteristics of antenna system with any structure and partial directivity diagrams (including in the conditions of mutual agencies), and also the correlation of results of measurement of angles of orientation of the carrying agent caused by features of machining of signals in navigating equipment of air means.
Results of work can be used at a sizing up potentially achievable in the conditions of dynamically changing multi-purpose electromagnetic circumstances of the major parametres of functioning of air means of radio monitoring (such as limiting direction-finding sensitivity, accuracy of direction finding), and also the account of agency on the given parametres of directional characteristics of antenna elements and structures of antenna system (quantity of elements, their mutual bracing). Use of the gained expression for potential accuracy of direction finding opens new possibilities under the solution of a problem of technical designing of direction finders for air means of radio monitoring taking into account characteristics of equipment of navigating-time maintenance, and also restrictions on weight and dimensions of radio-electronic equipment placed on the aircraft.
