Abstract:

Target statement. In the combined use of radio interference means on UAVs and ground-based radio reconnaissance means, a threeway radio-electronic conflict takes place, determined by the need to simultaneously meet the contradictory conditions for effective radio suppression (RS) of the information transmission system and conducting its radio reconnaissance by the ground-based radio reconnaissance system (GRS). The resolution of the contradiction is connected with the choice of rational management of frequencytime and spatial-energy resources of radio interference means, which reduces the unintentional interfering effect on ground-based radio intelligence means with guaranteed efficiency of the information transmission RS system.

Objective. Development of a mathematical model for the combined use of radio interference means on UAVs and ground-based radio reconnaissance means and evaluation of the effectiveness of various options for managing the interference resource in the interests of simultaneously fulfilling contradictory conditions for conducting radio reconnaissance and radio suppression when used together.

Results. A dynamic algorithm for controlling the interference resource is obtained, which provides an adequate change in the frequency, spatial and energy characteristics of radio interference in the dynamics of the radio-electronic environment, and the effectiveness of various options for controlling the interference resource is evaluated.

Practical implication. The developed model can be used as a basis for the methodology for justifying the requirements for radio interference devices placed on UAVs when they are used together with ground-based radio reconnaissance devices. At the same time, the requirements for the technical and spatial parameters of the radio interference station (IS), the limits and gradations of changes in the controlled parameters, which ensure the simultaneous fulfillment of the energy conditions of the RS and the electromagnetic availability of radio sources during radio reconnaissance, can be justified.
