Abstract:

Article is devoted determination and a substantiation of the generalized index of an estimation of efficiency of an information exchange in the network information systems, considering structure, algorithms and system operating conditions. 

During researches deep enough analysis of existing approaches to estimation of efficiency of network information systems which allowed to select conditionally three main groups of parameters and efficiency indexes is carried out. Local parameters of information efficiency of the first group - transmission rate, an average temporal time delay, an amount of the lost packets, probability characteristics and interference immunity indexes are applicable for an adequate estimation only channel possibilities of system, do not allow to estimate property of storage of the information and to define potential characteristics of system in sense of an information exchange, and also do not consider influence of topology on quality of its functioning. The generalized (complex) indexes of the second and third groups possess limitation of private parameters of the first group and have low sensitivity to private network characteristics.  As a result for an adequate estimation of information efficiency of network information systems in any possible operating conditions the approach with application of the generalized indexes of an estimation, which is offered: consider property of storage of the information, reflect the main characteristics and potential possibilities of a network information system, and also have accurate physical sense and communication with parameters of separate elements of a network infrastructure. The analysis of the gated in indexes with application of model of a fragment of a network information system allowed to uncover the physical sense of separate components accurately corresponding to processes of an information exchange. Concepts of specific integral loading and the maximum specific integral loading, their dimensionality and character of behavior in the conditions of change of the input traffic are defined. As total of estimation of information efficiency of a network information system the coefficient of the useful usage of possibilities of system on transmission and information storage is justified. The urgency of the offered approach in the conditions of high dynamics of changes of intensity of the input traffic and destabilizing actions when for support of effective and steady functioning of system simultaneous usage of properties of transmission and information storage is necessary is marked.

For check of reliability of results of the analysis, correctness of mathematical calculations and the made outputs simulation modeling of an information exchange in a network information system with determined structure with complete connection is led. Dependences of indexes are constructed: an average amount of packets stored in switching nodes and average productivity of system from the input traffic, and also coefficient of the useful usage of possibilities of system on transmission and information storage – functions of information efficiency. Results of modeling are strictly coordinated among themselves, explain the physics, happening information processes in the conditions of change of the input traffic and confirm justice of the received analytical dependences. Possibility of practical implementation of the offered indexes for the decision of tasks of monitoring and complex multiple loop adaptation of a network information system in real time is marked.
