Statement of the problem. The possibility of compensation of masking interference acting with a useful signal at the same frequency and "overlapping" it in power, time and amplitude is shown. The effectiveness of the method is demonstrated on the example of the detection of the useful signal in a complex signal environment – applying for entrance radar additive mixture of pulses, in which the total power of interference signals exceeds many times the useful power.
Goal. Increasing the noise immunity of the radar when exposed to powerful masking radio pulses.
Results. The effectiveness of the proposed method is quantified using one of the most important operational and tactical indicators of the effectiveness of radar stations in conditions of interference – the range reduction coefficient.
Practical significance. The influence of the method on the detection indicators is analyzed, and the factors affecting the quality of compensation are also noted.
