Abstract:

Target statement. One of the most effective way store duce the quality of time coordinate navigational support of an enemy objective and its intended application effectivity is jamming global navigation satellite system user’s equipment. There is a mobile interference transmitter containing an active 8-elements transmitting phased array, whose drawbacks are narrow vertical beam pattern and impossibility of operational control of the beam pattern.

Objective. To develop a method of vertical beam pattern extension in mobile interference transmitte rand provide the possibility of operational control of its beam pattern. 

Results. The developed method is based on the implementation of digital phase-shifting units providing programmable operational control over the array’s phase distribution. This allows to measure fluctuations of the beam pattern width and its main petal’s position.

Practical implication. The developed method can be implemented in a mobile interference transmitter in order to extend its vertical beam patter’s width and provide the possibility of dynamic control over the position of its main petal.
