Abstract:

Target statement. Multipositional radar system receiver obtains empty direct and re-reflected from local objects transmitter radiation (signal-like interference) from the target to get her with the useful echo-signal. The additive noise level significantly exceeds the useful echo-signal from the target, which increases the number of mistakes in assessing informative useful signal or makes signal acquisition impossible.

One of the main way store duce the interfering signals is coherent compensation with the use of adaptive filtration. However, the compensation effectivity depends on a large number of factors. 

Objective. Foundation of the principal scheme of a device for direct and re-reflected signals adaptive compensation in the reception path of multipositional radar system and investigation of what impact various factors have on the effectivity of interference signals compensation.

Results.The suggested compensation devise provides the extraction of weak radar impulse scattered by the air target, which allows to assess its informative parameters. As the result of the compensation, a normalized least-squares algorithm in the device allows to take the most from the ratio of the level of the cross correlation function main peak and its lateral peaks (more than 11 dB). Under the condition of non stationary noise, the implication of a «purer» copy of signal-like interference allows to provide extra advantage in signalto-noise ratio at compensation up to 5 dB.

Practical implication. The suggested principal scheme of compensation device can be used for headwear implementation of multipositional radar system transmitter’s preliminary signal processing unit.
