Abstract:

A MMIC frequency tripler for 75−110 GHz computer modeling and calculation are undertaken. The frequency tripler design parameters and experimental data comparison is represented. The study of MMIC structural features impact on frequency tripler for 75−110 GHz characteristics is undertaken. The project of MMIC topology with advanced characteristics is offered.

A comparison of experimental results shows that the characteristics of the frequency tripling samples are at the level of a foreign analogue, but it should be taken into account that this is the first iteration of the MMIC topology. In the future, it is planned to replace the structure of the output filter of the top frequency with a band-pass filter on connected half-wave resonators or on capacitive gaps, which will eliminate symmetry violation and reduce losses.
