Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to develop active filters with extended dynamic and frequency ranges performed on a single operational amplifier. The article discusses the problems of expanding the dynamic ranges of potentially stable and potentially unstable networks, and the problems of expanding the frequency ranges of potentially unstable networks.

Scientific novelty of this study lies in a new method for the analysis of characteristic equations, which allows one to obtain corrective elements that, when used, expand the frequency and dynamic ranges of active networks.

As a result of the study, conditions were obtained for the selection of feedback elements of potentially stable and potentially unstable networks, which lead to an expansion of the dynamic range. Methods for introducing corrective capacitors and resistors are described, which lead to the expansion of the frequency range of potentially unstable networks made on the chips of operational  amplifiers.

Practical significance. Using the recommendations of the article will allow one to design active filters with maximum dynamic and  frequency ranges.
