The MUSIC high-resolution direction finding method is able to estimate the direction to radio sources (RS) with high accuracy and resolution. The paper deals with radio direction finding of highly dynamic objects, since in modern conditions the velocity of movement of the RS turns out to be such that during the analysis of the received signals there is a significant change in the angular coordinates. Of a particular interest is the implementation of methods based on the use of antenna arrays with a small number of elements. A simulation model of the signal direction of arrival estimator was developed with the possibility of statistical modeling for research. On the basis of the developed model the dependences of RMS of measurements of the bearings of the dynamic RS and the resolution in a wide range of values of the signal-to-noise ratios and the analysis time at various valuesof the rate of change of bearings were obtained. The obtained dependences allow to determine an estimate of the achievable accuracy for a given resolution, as well as to estimate the requirements for the main parameters for implementation of the radio direction finder.
