Abstract:

This paper reviews PRN code generation methods for the existing GNSSs. We present the structure of the universal code generator which can be used in the satellite navigation systems: NAVSTAR GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou. The initialization parameters used for configuring this generator are presented. We also implemented the universal generator as a FPGA-based module and estimated hardware resource utilization.
