Abstract:

The article investigates the question of the base rotation effects on the parameters of elastic waves propagating in a solid-state microgyroscope (SMG) on surface acoustic waves (SAW). Analytical relations were obtained by using the scalarization method. That ensured the parameters determination of the inertial masses motion: phase velocity, SAW frequencies, amplitude and motion form of inertial masses participating in SAW transfer. The results of numerical simulation, which shows the effect of base rotation on the complex reflection coefficients of bulk waves from a layer on a substrate and the shape of an elliptical trajectory of inertial masses, are presented. The results can be used in the design of inertial control and navigation systems built on the SMG on SAW, which will be resistant to overloads over a long time interval.
