Abstract:

Expressions for the lower bounds of mean-squared deviations of an angular position estimates of ultra-bandwidth signals sources are received by the multichannel correlation measuring instrument. The comparative analysis of various algorithms of an angular position assessment of ultra-bandwidth signals sources is carried out by the multichannel correlation measuring instrument. The analysis is made on the basis of results comparison of statistical model operation and a degree of approximation to potentially available accuracy.

Results of comparative analysis showed that measurement accuracy of an angular position of signals source is close to potentially accessible under a condition when SNR exceeds some threshold value at which normal work of all algorithms is possible. However at decrease of SNR the meter realizing the algorithm option considering a nonuniform distribution of energy in a frequency band of a signal and its temporary structure has the best accuracy.
