Abstract:

In this paper analysis of the analytical method radiating UWB signals using pulse characteristics, based on the physical optics, is presented. Comparison between signal calculation and FIT electrodynamic modelling is performed. Using comparison results the mean error between theoretical and computational methods for different ratio of an aperture size and signal spatial duration is determined. Criteria of the methods matching is introduced, as well as boundary condition of analytical method applying.
