This paper suggests a method of designing multichannel MW power dividers on the basis of prototype circuits, for which optimal structures have already been synthesized and calculation and reference materials are available in form of tables, diagrams etc.
Such prototype circuits include step transformers, MW filters and RLC-element low-frequency filters.
The first example represents a calculation method for a wideband power divider based on quarter-wave segments of transmission line with a random number of channels and a specified distribution of power among the channels. A circuit of an 11-channel divider calculated according to the suggested method is given in the paper.
The second example represents a calculation method for a branching filter.
This paper dwells upon a method of designing multichannel MW power dividers on the basis of prototype circuits, for which optimal structures have already been synthesized and calculation and reference materials are available. Examples of calculations are given herein
