This work considers the issue of increase of current output of starter lead - acid storage batteries (SB) is considered. To solve this problem we proposed new circuit-based solution that allows us to improve the operation of the «SB-ionistor» systems. The proposed solution makes it possible to increase the peak discharge current of the battery, both at normal and negative ambient temperatures. Due to the parallel inclusion of ionistors in the battery circuit the problem of increasing the resistance of one of the cans of a starter battery is solved to ensure the normal start-up of most internal combustion engines (ICE).
