Abstract:

The paper proposes generic mathematical model of the information channel with codec based on code signal feature. Noise with Poisson distribution of impulses and arbitrary distribution of impulse amplitudes is considered. Generic formulas are deduced for the information channel reception outcome probabilities. These formulas are used to investigate information channels with Gaussian and exponential noise impulse amplitude distribution.
