Abstract:

Technique of quasi-analytical calculation of wave impedance of rectangular waveguide with piecewise-layered filling based on its presentation in the form of equivalent transmission line of analyzed cross section, filled with homogeneous dielectric material is considered. Results of quasi-analytical calculation of wave impedance of rectangular waveguide obtained by different values of geometrical sizes and electro physical parameters of inhomogeneous dielectric filling are compared with known numerical data.
