Abstract:

The paper considers optimal in the sense of minimum mean squared error algorithms of measurement data digital processing for the most popular automatic network analysers (ANA) based on vector voltmeter, multi-port reflectometer, and multi-probe transmission line reflectometer. The algorithms use the universal maximum likelihood technique for solution of the ANA equations. Advantages of the proposed approach are discussed.
