Abstract:
The metamaterials of conductive rings in the dielectric matrix, are randomly located or periodically located, forming a photonic crystal, have been are considered. The obtained models show that the magnetic response can be both diamagnetic and paramagnetic, but in the nonresonance region, where a uniform magnetic permeability still makes sense, its value is close to one.
