The evaluation method of the effectiveness of protection by a local layer of a scattering medium of an electro-optical device from exposure to laser radiation is developed. The theoretical research depending on the characteristics of means of conflicting systems, the optical thickness of the scattering layer and its location on the track «source-receiver» is carried out.
